LBA Hospitality Hires Director of eCommerce
June 25, 2015

DOTHAN, AL (June 25, 2015) - LBA Hospitality, a full-scale hotel management, development and consulting firm, today announced the creation of its Director of eCommerce position, which will be filled by Tim Johnson.

As part of its commitment to being a forward-looking company, LBA created the Director of eCommerce position in response to the multitude of rapidly growing and evolving online platforms used to market inventory and manage reputation in the hospitality industry.

As Director of eCommerce, Johnson is tasked with maximizing the exposure of LBA’s properties across all online distribution and communication channels, which ensures increased room revenues, decreased operational costs and optimal returns on investment. According to Johnson, the company’s eCommerce priorities are to increase its digital, mobile and social footprints; foster customer loyalty and brand affinity; and maintain brand and portfolio preference. “Customers can browse and buy any time, any place, which makes having an effective online presence essential for positive growth in today’s hotel business,” Johnson said.

Johnson, who has more than 12 years of marketing and hospitality expertise, previously serving as Marriott International’s Manager of Marketing and eCommerce for the Modern Essentials/Extended Stay Brands. He also served in varying media planning and buying roles at Q9 Advertising. “Tim’s eCommerce and B2C knowledge are a perfect fit for us as we look to support our hotel partners and maximize the online sales channels to meet the changing needs of travelers who go online to book their travel” said Vice President of Sales & Marketing Judy Cluck. “With his technical and project management expertise, he can recommend innovative software platforms and operational efficiencies that support the overall business objectives of our clients.”
