LBA Completes Construction

Recently, the US General Services Administration (GSA) awarded a fifteen year lease to LBA-GSA Montgomery, LLC, a subsidiary of Larry Blumberg and Associates (LBA), to develop a new 16,000 square foot facility for the US Citizenship and Immigration Service (CIS) in Montgomery, Alabama.

Upon signing that lease with the GSA, LBA-GSA Montgomery, LLC then awarded a development contract to LBA’s Construction Division to design and build this facility.

Located at 3381 Atlanta Highway, the facility will serve citizens of the entire State of Alabama.  Accommodating up to 36 employees, the building is LEED 2009 Certified for commercial interiors, and Energy Star Certified.  As such, the facility will save upwards to 40% on water consumption and 31% in electrical usage compared to a baseline building.

Immediately upon completion of this facility (projected to be December, 2016) LBAM-GSA, LLC, also a subsidiary of Larry Blumberg and Associates, will be   awarded a contract to serve as the property’s manager.  The property manager will provide liaison with the involved Federal Agencies, including the CIS and the GSA, property accounting as well as operational and maintenance services.
